As the Jersey Audit Office moves towards its 20th Anniversary in 2025, Lynn Pamment CBE will explain what the role of the Comptroller and Auditor General is all about.
She will talk about the work that she performs to provide independent assurance as to whether public funds are used effectively in Jersey and will comment on what she has found through her work.
As part of her presentation Lynn will explore:
- why Jersey has a Comptroller and Auditor General
- why the role matters to Islanders
- how she holds the States to account for its use of public funds
- how her role enhances transparency and contributes to improvement in public services; and
- her insights as to whether public funds are used effectively.
