The Jersey Chamber Weekly Update
Dear Subscriber,
Well here we are again… Friday - which is great, but perhaps not so great if you find yourself with the fingers of fire on the keyboard of deadlines!
If only I could time travel and have planned the week better. For those who muse on time travel, I came upon a new term this week - a Whovian. Thanks Tony! Basically, it's a fan of Doctor Who. Who knew! And who was the better Doctor Who anyway?
If you remember the last Chamber Christmas Lunch you'll remember tunes, turkey and temp passe, as we looked back over 2023. Here we are now, hurtling towards 2025 in the island that is much smaller to the outside than it is on the inside – we are a Tardis with tides!
So, if you do not want to miss out on the festive fun, with some prizes, pithy poking and the politics of 2024, best you get your tickets ready. At the last count we had just over 20 left and if you are yet to get the team and a few clients together for a bite, then we could be the inexpensive answer.
Details are Dec 4th at the Royal Yacht Hotel 1200 noon until 2.30pm. There will be wine from Dunells and soft drinks from Randalls on the table and coffee from Cooper & Co will be served with the petite fours.
We will provide some light relief after what has been a turbulent year.
Next week we will announce our 2025 line up for the Chamber lunches for January to April and we might just hear who the ferry provider will be.
