The Jersey Chamber Weekly Update
Dear Subscriber,
Roll Up…Roll Up… Free money… come and get yours today!
Not often one can make that kind of announcement, but it exists, and it is real. And as a business it would be silly to not at least look at it this possible funding support.
It's called the Better Business Support Package and is a government initiative designed to help local businesses boost productivity with matched grant funding for key projects and staff training.
With up to £5.3 million available, businesses can tap into grants for skills development, productivity improvements, visitor economy, and apprenticeships.
It's an opportunity to invest in your people and processes and get half of the costs covered.
There are three types of grants, offering up to £75K per project in both 2025 and 2026 and if you and your team want to find out how it'll work and possibly get inspired, the Chamber Breakfast Briefing is the place to get all the info you need.
It's been the busiest of weeks behind the scenes as usual, with much talk of the ferry timetables and freight operations with engagement with DFDS and Government.
Half term it may be – full tilt it has been.
As we edge toward a new ferry service a reminder that the March Chamber Lunch event is sold out – email or call the office to be on the waiting list.
The April lunch is close to the last 50 tickets and the May lunch with the Chief Minister is filling up quickly.
And as the weekend beckons, may I wish you a restful one.
Murray,
