He has a hands-on leadership style, emphasising collaboration and growth, and has tripled the workforce since 2016. Adam also leads the Business Advisory team, supporting businesses with innovative solutions.
A Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of England and Wales, Adam is committed to community and philanthropy. He has served as Treasurer and now President of the Jersey Chamber of Commerce. Outside work, he is a Mental Health First Aider, active golfer, and devoted family man.
Minister for the Environment at Government of Jersey
Deputy Steve Luce became the Minister for the Environment in January 2024. He was elected Deputy of St. Martin in 2011. As a previous Minister for Planning and Environment, he has also represented Jersey at meetings with senior Government Ministers from Great Britain, Northern Ireland, and the Republic of Ireland. With over twelve years of political experience in the States Assembly, he has chaired various Scrutiny Panels and served on the Legislation Advisory Panel and the Planning Committee.
Outside of States work, Steve is immensely proud of his long-standing service with the St. Catherine’s Lifeboat, both on the crew and on shore, since 1988. He was Chairman, St. Martin’s Village Development Committee, Co-Organiser, 7:46 Breakfast Club, a past Chairman, Jersey Young Farmers Club, and a Methodist church organist since 1983.

As Deputy for St Brelade and Assistant Minister (2014-2018), he managed key sectors and participated in several committees. His diverse background helps him represent Members’ interests, promote trade, and enhance the Island’s prosperity. Additionally, he has raised millions for local charities and has organised major events in Jersey.
