He has a hands-on leadership style, emphasising collaboration and growth, and has tripled the workforce since 2016. Adam also leads the Business Advisory team, supporting businesses with innovative solutions.
A Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of England and Wales, Adam is committed to community and philanthropy. He has served as Treasurer and now President of the Jersey Chamber of Commerce. Outside work, he is a Mental Health First Aider, active golfer, and devoted family man.
Chief Minister at States of Jersey
Lyndon John Farnham is a Jersey politician who has served as the Chief Minister of Jersey since January 2024. He formerly served as the Deputy Chief Minister and Minister for Economic Development, Tourism, Sport, and Culture. He has been a Deputy for St Mary, St Ouen & St Peter since 2022, having previously served as a Deputy for St Saviour and later a Senator. He is a business consultant and a company director.
On 25 January 2024, Farnham was voted Chief Minister-designate by the States Assembly. He became the sixth Chief Minister of Jersey following the appointment of the new Council of Ministers on 30 January.
Chief Minister at States of Guernsey
Lyndon served a four-year term as Guernsey’s Chancellor between 2004 and 2008 and progressed to become the jurisdiction’s youngest Chief Minister to date serving from 2008 until 2012.
He held the position of Deputy Chief Minister between 2016 and 2020 and in December 2023 he was elected Chief Minister for an unprecedented second time.
Lyndon is a former city trader and holds several board positions on closed ended private equity investment funds and businesses specialising in pension administration and investment reporting. His career in financial services now spans over 35 years.
Lyndon is a graduate of the Institute of Directors company direction programme and is currently Chairman of the board of Guernsey Finance LBG, which is the organisation responsible for promoting Guernsey as an international finance centre.
Married, with three children, he enjoys following Tottenham Hotspur FC, target shooting and hunting for Guernsey’s elusive shellfish Ormer when time and tide allow.

As Deputy for St Brelade and Assistant Minister (2014-2018), he managed key sectors and participated in several committees. His diverse background helps him represent Members’ interests, promote trade, and enhance the Island’s prosperity. Additionally, he has raised millions for local charities and has organised major events in Jersey.
